Electrical distribution and lighting equipment were involved in an estimated

Congratulations to Lt. Bill Ipock (1206) who was awarded the 2008 Leon County Volunteer of the Year award.

Bill has been a dedicated member of the Chaires-Capitola Volunteer fire department for over two and a half years. Since being promoted to lieutenant he has been in charge of medical reporting, medical supplies and vehicle maintenance.

He made a point to become a certified driver operator on all the department vehicles as soon as possible after joining, and has been instrumental in planning and running several large fund-raising events.

We thank him and his family for their work and dedication to the department over the last several years.
